This Privacy Policy describes how Zaidu Discount with Loyalty ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when a merchant installs the App on their Shopify store, and when the merchant's customers interact with loyalty and discount features powered by the App.

1. Information We Collect

When a merchant installs the App, we may collect and store:

• Store information: shop domain, store owner name and email, plan, and installed scopes.
• Customer information relevant to the loyalty program: customer name, email address, Shopify customer ID, order totals, and order/refund status, used solely to calculate and award loyalty points, VIP tiers, and referral rewards.
• Loyalty program activity: points earned, points redeemed, referral codes, store credit balances, and related transaction history.
• Theme and storefront configuration data the merchant sets through the App (e.g., widget colors, popup text, earning and redemption rules).

2. How We Use Information

• To operate the loyalty and discount features the merchant configures (earning points, issuing discount codes, tracking referrals).
• To display loyalty balances and rewards to the merchant's customers on the storefront.
• To provide the merchant with analytics about their loyalty program's performance.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the App.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell customer or merchant data. Information is shared only with:

• Shopify, as required for the App to function via the Shopify Admin API.
• Service providers who host our infrastructure and database, solely to operate the App.

4. Data Retention

We retain merchant and customer data for as long as the App remains installed on the store. If a merchant uninstalls the App, we delete store and associated customer data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls, to protect the data we store.

Merchants and their customers may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting us using the details below. We comply with Shopify's mandatory GDPR and CCPA webhook requirements for data requests and erasure.
